Fees

We are a privately billing practice. We charge the full amount up front and you may pay with credit card, EFTPOS or cash. We have the facilities for the medicare rebate to go instantly back onto any debit card.

Our Fees have changed

We no longer offer discounted fees on a Sunday. There will be a minimum $55 out of pocket fee on a Sunday. This also applies to children, pensioners, healthcare card holders and university students.

There has been an increased demand for our doctors appointments recently. In order to cater to the needs of as many patients as possible we have made some changes to our billing structure.

We will no longer offer discounted fees for appointments before 10am and after 4pm. The aim of this is to create more availability for children after school and for workers. This will begin from 1 March 2024.

We are now charging a fee of $50 to patients that do not attend their scheduled appointment. We understand that situations change and there can be last minute emergencies, but we have found that there are appointments each day that are being ‘wasted’ by patients not attending or phoning to let us know they cannot attend their appointment. In order to discourage this and to ensure as many patients can be seen each day as possible we will be adding this fee to the account of any patient who does not attend their appointment. We request 4hrs notice if you are unable to attend your appointment or this fee will be added.

These fees apply to all patients including children who do not meet the below criteria for a discounted fee. Please be aware that if you require a longer appointment there will be a larger out of pocket fee. An extra $10 out of pocket fee applies to Sunday appointments. See below for these fees. If you have met the medicare safety net for the year your rebate from medicare will be much higher. Any questions please discuss with reception prior to your appointment.
