Dr Jennifer Peattie obtained her medical degree in 2010 in the first graduating class at the University of Wollongong. Following intern and residency at Wollongong Hospital she worked at Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick for 3 years training to be a Paediatrician. Following the birth of her first child she decided to make the transition to General Practice and has never looked back.

Jennifer has brought her experience and love of Paediatrics to General Practice and has also attained a Masters of Medicine in Paediatrics from The University of Sydney. She has a strong belief in ongoing education and also has a Family Planning NSW Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health and an Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine from Healthcert. She is one of the few doctors in the Illawarra offering gender affirming hormone therapy and is passionate about training further GP’s to also be able to offer this service to the community. Jennifer is a mother to two young children who keep her busy outside of work.
