Dr Elissa James graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2021 and has worked in public hospital settings across the Illawarra-Shoalhaven since. She is particularly interested in Sexual Health, Gender Affirming Care, Reproductive Health and Mental Health. Elissa strives to place patients at the centre of their health care journey. 

Elissa is joining Crown West Medical team as a GP Registrar this year, furthering her training to specialise in General Practice. She is excited to get to know new patients and build strong clinical relationships. 

Outside of medicine, Elissa enjoys dabbling in gardening and ceramics. She is a keen cyclist and loves bushwalking and canyoning.
